Bio: Eric R. Rosenbaum is a Board-certified clinical pathologist at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He began his molecular and microbiology training in 1994 at the University of California, Davis where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Genetics. Following this, he trained as a post-baccalaureate fellow at the National Institutes of Health where he studied HIV virus-cell fusion inhibitors. Dr. Rosenbaum earned his doctorate in medicine and Master of Public Health at Emory University after which he arrived in Arkansas for residency in Pathology followed by fellowship training in Transfusion Medicine. His practice is general clinical pathology with particular interest in clinical microbiology and transfusion medicine. He holds leadership roles within the Laboratory Accreditation Program of the College of American pathologists, currently serving as the International Commissioner for Africa.
